About these terms

These terms apply when you use alphachimneysolutions.com or send us a request or booking through it. "We" and "us" means Alpha Chimney Solutions. By using the site or our forms, you agree to these terms. The work itself is covered by the written estimate, contract or invoice for your job, and if anything there differs from this page, those documents win.

Information on this site

What we write here about chimneys, fireplaces and repairs is general. Every chimney is different, and we can't tell what yours needs from a web page or a description over the phone. A recommendation or price for your home comes only after we've looked at it.

Requests and bookings

• Sending a request or picking a time online doesn't lock in an appointment until we confirm it with you by phone, text or email.
• Arrival times are windows, not exact times. Traffic and the job before yours can move them, and we'll let you know if we're running late.
• We don't work on roofs in rain, ice, snow or high wind. If the weather turns, we'll call to move the visit.
• Please give us accurate details about the address, the type of fireplace or stove, and access to the roof and the room, so we send the right person with the right equipment.

Estimates and prices

Repair prices are given in a written estimate after we've seen the chimney. Sometimes taking a chimney apart turns up damage nobody could see from outside. If that happens, we stop and talk to you before doing any work that isn't on the estimate.

Cancelling

Plans change. To cancel or move an appointment, call or email as early as you can.

If a contract for more than $25 is signed at your home, Michigan's Home Solicitation Sales Act lets you cancel it until midnight of the third business day after signing. Your contract will include the notice and the cancellation form.

Payment

Payment terms and the ways you can pay are listed on your estimate or invoice.

Text messages

If you share a mobile number with us and agree to texts, either on one of our forms or by asking us directly, you'll get messages from Alpha Chimney Solutions about your request and appointments. That includes booking confirmations, reminders, arrival notices, estimates and invoices.

• How often you hear from us depends on your job. Most customers get a few messages per visit.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• To opt out, reply STOP to any of our texts. One final message will confirm you're unsubscribed.
• Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (313) 626-6959 or office@alphachimneysolutions.com.
• You don't have to agree to texts to hire us or buy anything from us.
• Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We never share your mobile number or text consent with anyone for their marketing. See our privacy policy for details.

Photos and content

The text, photos and logo on this site belong to Alpha Chimney Solutions. You're welcome to link to our pages, but please don't copy or reuse our content without asking.

Other websites

Our booking forms are provided by Jobber, and some pages may link to other companies' sites. Those services have their own terms, and we're not responsible for their content or how they run.

The website itself

We keep this site accurate and working as best we can, but it's provided as it is. We don't promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent Michigan law allows, we aren't responsible for any loss caused by using this website. This doesn't limit anything we owe you under the contract for your job.

Michigan law

Michigan law applies to these terms. Any dispute about them goes to a state or federal court in Michigan.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Work already under contract stays under the terms of that contract.
